156. Snowy scenes

Don’t get me wrong, a mild winter is very welcome, especially as the previous winter was such a long one. But we were starting to feel a bit cheated by the lack of snow and brag-worthy cold temperatures. So you can imagine how pleased we were to finally get a decent (around 40cm) snowfall this week…

This happy!

And the overnight forecast for tonight? A chilly -18C. Bring it on!

But after tonight, winter can bugger off. We’ve got seeds to sow.

    Dear Claire,

Another great post, as always. 40cms of snow! Well, we have just come back from two wonderful weeks of swimming and sunbathing in the Philippines. The food was GREAT, but now I have to go back to work until June 15th, the last day of my teaching career. Then we will be flying from Hong Kong to Istanbul and then finally, finally to BULGARIA! Yippee!

I borrowed lots of your thoughts / ideas for my post "In Praise of Sofia", but I DID include an acknowledgement and the address for your blog, so I hope that you will not be miffed.
